
Carlin Trammel worked as the Digital Services Manager at Rowland Publishing, Inc. (RPI). In that role, he was responsible for bolstering the success of the websites for the three primary magazines RPI publishes. He maintained the social media accounts, updated web content, and produced new multimedia content for the web.
Prior to this, Carlin worked at a marketing agency as a project manager. He oversaw the completion of several award-winning websites, ad campaigns, print material, brands, and social media efforts.
Carlin has also produced television commercials, promotional videos, video blogs, and audio podcasts. Carlin has also played vital roles in his previous organizations by overseeing initiatives to implement new technologies in order to both enhance and streamline accounting, sales, and traffic data collection.
While involved with these initiatives, he became inspired to pursue his Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University. His projects included completion of preliminary mobile application design, thorough usability analysis of learning management systems, and development of web-based applications. While earning his Master’s degree, Carlin also earned a Graduate Certificate in Information Architecture.
Carlin lives in Tallahassee with his wife and two children. In his free time, he produces content for the Nerd Lunch blog and podcast and the Pod, James Pod Podcast.
