While trying to catch up on the backlog of missing items here, I realized there were a few videos that I hadn’t posted about that I’ll just throw into one post here.
We did a story on the mayor and his family. A couple of different photo shoots were set up and I attended both and put together a behind-the-scenes video.
Tony Hale from Arrested Development and Veep fame is originally from Tallahassee, FL. It was decided that he would be featured in an issue of the magazine and he would even be able to be on the cover. I had the privilege of shooting a behind-the-scenes video of the cover shoot.

As a result of being able to shoot this, I had footage to use in the promo video for the July/August 2014 issue. I even had fun putting together motion graphics for the cover near the end of the video where the footage transitions into the cover.

Below are a few promotional videos that I created to promote new issues of the Rowland Publishing titles. Each video gives a few highlights of what the content will be in the magazine and teases with headlines and photos. The videos are posted to the social media accounts and blogs of the magazines.
The videos were created using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere.
Last year I had the opportunity to have a bit part in a commercial for Awards4U in Tallahassee. I also helped produce the commercial. I play the part of the coach.
I recently finished shooting and editing a TV commercial for Tallahassee Kettlebells. Here’s how it turned out.

A TV commercial promoting Tallahassee Magazine’s “It Happened One Night” cover feature and the “How It Happened One Night” documentary will be airing beginning the week of April 30 on WTWC, NBC-40 in Tallahassee. It is already available for viewing online.
